PROJECT HISTORY

• BAYU - discovered 1995 in contract area 91-13 by a Phillips Petroleum Company ZOC operated joint venture.

This discovery was confirmed with the drilling of the :-

• UNDAN 1 well in 1995 in contract area 91-12 by a BHP Petroleum (91-12) Pty Ltd operated joint venture.

• April 1999 Phillips Petroleum acquires BHP’s interests in Bayu-Undan and other Timor sea plays
