The next round of permanent maritime boundary negotiations between the Australian and East Timorese Governments are set to take place in Canberra on the 7th , 8th and 9th of March.

An open letter addressed to the Australian Government's negotiating team has been signed by a diverse list of prominent Australians and will be delivered on the first day of the talks.

Businessman Ian Melrose has also published the letter as an advertisement in The Australian, The Age and the Canberra Times newspapers.
