Results

71.2% of the 743,150 registered voters cast their ballots on 20 March, and 97.8% of those ballots were valid. Francisco Guterres (Lu-Olo) won with 57% of the vote, and therefore no second round will be required. He will take office on 20 May.

On 3 April, La'o Hamutuk presented a report on its election observation to the electoral authorities and media.
